About me

Iv by Ivonne

Hi! I'm Ivonne , or short: Iv .
An expressive, colorful artist with a love for power, emotion and that wonderful raw edge. My work is anything but tame - it wants to say something, it wants to move, connect, touch. Sometimes cheerful, sometimes mysterious, sometimes a bit abrasive. But always real.

What drives me?

Making art is pure energy for me. It starts with a feeling, an image, something that grabs me – on the street, in nature, during a trip, from an emotion, from people or just suddenly, BAM.
Painting is my bubble, my flow. Where I disappear and color and shape take over. I let it happen, let it arise. Sometimes intuitively, sometimes with a story, and often a bit of both.

My style & material

I work a lot with oil paint – rich colors, deep tones, endless possibilities. It mixes and flows as I feel it. But I also love working with acrylics and ink – each medium evokes something different.
My style is loose, spontaneous, often with music in the background or loud in the foreground. I play with contrasts: abstract versus realism, light versus dark, silence versus energy.

Who I make for

My art is for people who love color, expression and a bit of adventure. Who are curious about what is behind a work, or who want to discover their own story in it.
You don't have to be an art expert – if it moves you, it's right.
Whether it's the colors, the emotion, the mystery, or just because you think, “Wow, this feels good.” Then we're already connected.

My journey so far

I discovered, learned and experimented a lot myself. I also took lessons from an art teacher and studied for a year at the Art Academy Arendonk - a valuable and inspiring time.
For a long time I kept my work to myself, but now I know: this can go out into the world. And it is so special to see how my work touches others. That remains magical.

What do you see in my work?

Gradients of color. Loose brushstrokes. Sometimes a dreamy face, sometimes pure energy. Each work tells its own story – sometimes very clear, sometimes subtle.
But always with a piece of me in it. And hopefully a little bit of you too.

Are you curious? Feel welcome to look, feel, ask, discover.
Let's connect through color, contrast & conversation.

Love,
Ivonne / Iv
